Blake Wilson, PhD, Duke University professor and ACI Alliance member and supporter, has been elected to the National Academy of Engineering (NAE). Election to the NAE is among the highest honors for engineers. The NAE noted Dr. Wilson’s accomplishments for “engineering development of the cochlear implant that bestows hearing to individuals with profound deafness.” Dr. Wilson will be formally inducted during a ceremony at the NAE’s annual meeting in Washington, DC on Oct. 8, 2017. https://pratt.duke.edu/about/news/wilson-nae
